Lonely Planet Guide Books

I love these because they are packed with great information for just about any place you can think of. They are easy to travel with and the pull out maps usually come in handy.

Brita Filtered Water Bottle

One of the biggest things I take for granted as an American is access to clean drinking water and unlimited water refills at restaurants. I purchased one of these Brita water bottles prior to a trip to South American a few years ago and have made sure to bring it with me ever since. Not only is it environmentally friendly but prevents me from wasting money on purchasing so many water bottles.

Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones

A little bit of a bigger investment, but if you can indulge in buying a pair of noise cancelling headphones I highly recommend it. I can no longer fly without them. Getting some rest on a long flight is hard enough but these make it a little bit easier. I have a pair of the wireless Bose QuietComfort 35's which connect to my phone via Bluetooth and has Google Assistant built in.

Cozy Scarf

This company, Mersea, was founded by three friends inspired by traveling and mindfulness. All their products are designed with these themes in mind which is why I love this scarf. It's the perfect accessory, looks chic, and serves multiple purposes. I always wear it on long flights because I'm always freezing cold and this is well, cozy.

Simple Hydrating Cleansing Wipes

The combination of stress, lack of sleep, dehydration, change in diet, and all the other craziness that comes with travel isn't great for breakouts. I always carry these when traveling - especially in my carry on. They are a great to get a refreshed/recharged feeling during a long flight or right when you land. They are also really convenient to throw in your bag during a day of sightseeing - especially on warmer days!
